Westfork Meadows
One of the first non-Huntley Group subdivisions developed in Big Sky in 1975, just a year after Big Sky opened. Westfork was developed on a 40 acre parcel of land that was split off from a 160 acres homestead parcel of land. (Out West, 160 acres is 1/4 of a Section of Land. 40 acres is, then, 1/8 of a Section. A Section of Land is one square mile, or 640 acres). Westfork is home to many "locals", several restaurants, shops, bars, Laundromat, parks, the Big Sky Business Center, Santosha Wellness Center and is immediately adjacent to the Town Center.

The top 10 reasons to live in the Meadow area are:
  1. Close to grocery stores (Country Market, Roxy's and The Hungary Moose)
  2. Close to the Post Office
  3. More affordable housing
  4. Locals, lots of kids and their dogs
  5. Bakery (actually, two of them!)
  6. Pizza, By Word of Mouth Tokyo Tuesday
  7. The River Rock Hotel
  8. The best place for Trick-or-Treating
  9. Close to the Town Center, Summer Concerts, Bus Hub
  10. Close to everything else the Meadow is also close to.
